I've always admired your work since I discovered it on DA, enough to inspire me to pick up some super sculpy and have a crack myself. Now my admiration has increased a hundredfold.

Well done with ALL of your recent works. (sorry, I've been to busy to check out the thousands of accumulated deviations until now).

I like this one. For a study, it has a ton of personality!

Wow you sculpted this out of microcrystalline!? That is amazing! I've toyed around with wax and all I could manage to use it for were sketches. I'm amazed at what you were able to do with it.

have you ever tried smoothing with citrosolve?

No I haven't actually,Thanks for the tip. My work process is usually: build up, refine, detail, and then (unsuccessfully) use heat to try and smooth/unify. Another problem might be the wax I was using, so I picked up some "French Wax" which I'm trying and I will be sure to put the Citrosolve to the test on.

Actually that's funny you should ask because I just picked up some of the hard grade, I sort of went on a wax frenzy and bought the "Strictly Carving" type, the French Wax which is a more additive, and Castilene as the in between. Thanks for the recommendation it's good to know I'm on the right track :).
