ye olde stuff.

i found on my other computer.

Lifesize figure sculpture i did in college. About 6 feet tall i believe the model was (maybe 6'2 i dont remember)

fought with the teacher over it-the fingers and hands kept drying out, cracking and falling off, so i decided to remove them, resculpt in oil clay/ mold them, then reconnect plaster castings to solve the issue, but kept giving me all kinds of BS reasons who i shouldnt.

But thats the way i see ye olde timers in the black and white photos do it. ( it always puzzled me what he had against classicism. )

hated soldate 60 because it had all these gritty little rocks in it that prevented refined forms, wanted to do it in W.E.D. clay instead. He more or less threatened to dock my grade if i do so.

Waste-molded it into plaster, but i never found the time to reassemble the plaster castings and refine it.

Then the janitorial staff threw away the pieces at the end of the semester and it was gone forever...
